Creation Journaling

My husband and I began a "Creation Journaling" group at our church. This is an intergenerational, family-friendly group that meets quarterly to do “nature journaling” in the context of faith in God as creator. We observe different subjects in nature and record our observations by using words, numbers, and pictures.

It's important for children to have opportunities to spend time with their families.  But the value of this group is that children have an opportunity to be meaningful, contributing members of a group that includes older adults. We love watching our sons participate in the activities alongside retirees!
